Although pre-existing conditions cannot be excluded when you purchase health insurance through the Marketplace, some types of health insurance coverage bought through private insurance companies do still have limitations and not everyone can qualify.
While there are some private insurance companies that do use blood tests to look for nicotine usage or cholesterol and blood pressure issues, there is no blood work requirement for any health insurance plan including the Catastrophic PPO plans that I can help you purchase.
Instead, after you make an application, an insurance underwriter will check your medical history by obtaining a copy of your medical report from the MIB Bureau.
