Did Trump repeal Obamacare? Not yet! He did, however, sign an executive order which seeks the prompt repeal of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, but this carries very little weight at this time. Obamacare remains fully in effect.
Two Republican senators (Bill Cassidy & Susan Collins) did propose a plan that would keep “Obamacare” but delete the individual and employer mandates that require Americans to HAVE TO buy Health Insurance or receive a tax penalty.
For now, 2017 the ACA is still the law of the land. Repeal and replace is only just getting started and we know very little about what will happen next.
