The first thing that people usually want to know before they sign up for a free consultation is whether or not they have to come to my office and meet with me in person. The answer is no.
I realize that you have a busy schedule, so I’m always happy to talk with you over the telephone. If you do want to meet in person, we’ll find a time that is convenient for you.
How it Works
The process is pretty much the same whether we meet in person or by phone.
If we do talk by phone, I like to use a virtual screenshare program that allows you to ‘Join Me’ for a presentation on your laptop or tablet. By following along on your screen, you can see the information that we will discuss during your free consultation.
For an in-office appointment, I will provide you with everything you need when you arrive.
How Long Does it Take?
Although the length of time for an initial consultation can vary, most appointments take about 30 minutes or so depending on the questions you may have about your coverage. Some of the more common questions that clients commonly ask about include:
- What are the different prices of the health insurance plans that you offer?
- What benefits are included (or not) in the health insurance policy that I am interested in?
- What doctors can I go to?
During this free consultation, I will also need to ask you a series of questions that will help me determine what health insurance policies you can qualify for, such as:
- Your basic information such as your name, sex, height, and weight.
- Do you smoke or use tobacco?
- How often do you see a doctor?
- What types of medications are you on?
Regardless of whether you wish to meet by phone or in person, you are never under any obligation to make a purchase. You also don’t have to worry about being added to a call list because I am the only one that will ever call you.
After the free consultation, I will follow up with you – or not. There is never any pressure to sign up or buy anything. In fact, if I see another way that you can save money, I will happily share it with you.
